I have been asked where the Station 18 stories would fall in the Emergency! timeframe. I thought it was a good question and that other people might wonder also. If I had been running the universe, Johnny's Bad Day would have been the start of season seven. These stories would have replaced the two hour movies (which would have never happened) and regular episodes of the show would have continued.

I have tried to place these stories in some semblance of chronological order even though they were not necessarily written or posted in that order. The following stories will contain non-canon characters and adult language. One difference between "my Emergency Universe" and others you may have read, is that Roy's daughter is not named Jennifer. She is Joy and is older not younger than Chris.

Johnny's Bad Day -- Everything goes wrong for Johnny and just when he makes the mistake of thinking things couldn't get worse -- they do.

Johnny's Lucky Day-- Johnny thinks that filling in at Station 18 will be a dream come true. Think again, Johnny.

Parenthood -- Roy is unflappable, right? Nothing would make him go to pieces.

The Second Alarm-- Unusual allies give the planners of a surprise party a little surprise.

The Morning After -- Direct Sequel to The Second Alarm. Who has a big head? Who makes Captain Stanley mad? Why does Marco want to die? Who boldly goes where no man has gone before?

On The Carpet -- Story directly follows The Morning After. Who is in big trouble? Who is more paranoid then ever? Why is McConnike smiling? Why is Johnny singing cereal jingles again? What did Rosita run up the flagpole at the station?

Enough Blame To Go Around -- Marco has a life-threatening emergency at the station but the squad is not there to help him.

What The Heck Happened?   (A Challenge 6 response) Cassie finds herself in need of a paramedic -- so she arranges to have it be Johnny.

The Case Of The Missing Squad -- When Squad 51 fails to show up at a rescue, Cassie and Pidge take the initiative and launch a full scale search.

Firestorm -- Part One -- Station 51  and Station 18 must continue to battle a fierce forest fire while they deal with the loss of close friends in a helicopter crash.

Firestorm - Part Two -- Dixie works to derail the rumored plan to put an end to Station 18. Roy tries to help Chet deal with what happened. Johnny desperately watches their only escape route begin to fall victim to the fire.

Firestorm - Part Three -- When they are overtaken by the fire, Johnny saves them by using an old Indian trick. Chet shows what he's really made of and Captain Stanley almost loses it with a stubborn civilian in the conclusion of the story.

Full Moon -- Johnny is sure Roy has gone off the deep end when the fact that there is a full moon has him rattled.

Back In The Saddle -- Cassie has to face the fact that she is not fearless after she is involved in an accident while riding in the back of a speeding ambulance.

Reprisal - Part One -- Engine 51 is shot at on its way to an emergency call. When Johnny's friend Chili is also seriously injured, it becomes evident that someone is launching attacks against the Fire Department.

Reprisal - Part Two   -- Johnny's frustration with the police investigation mounts and the stress of being targets is starting to tell on everyone. The stalker becomes more bold and lures Station 18 into a lethal trap.

Reprisal - Part Three --  A local television station learns of the attacks on the Department. While in a battle against time, one of  Johnny's old Indian tricks saves the day. Nevertheless, exhaustion is beginning to affect everyone's behavior.

Reprisal - Part Four --   An unusual group steps forward to aid the Department. Chili saves Johnny's life when he is attacked but they later come to blows over Johnny's obsession with catching the stalker.

Reprisal - Part Five --  It takes a covert operation and an old Irish trick to finally crack the case. Johnny learns that the downside of the search for the truth is that you may not like what you find.

Blue Moon -- Johnny's day goes from bad to worse as he tangles with both aliens and thieves but even he has to admit that the moon has some effect on his day when he ends up in real danger of drowning at fire. Two members of Station 18 also have possibly life altering experiences.

Double Date -- In this off duty story, Cassie , Pidge and their dates have to act quickly to save the victims of a car crash on a lonely stretch of highway in Topanga Canyon. A few well kept secrets are also revealed. This story is a sequel to Blue Moon.

The Good, the Bad & the Klutzy -- Cassie pulls duty at Station 51 while Johnny is out with his broken arm but Johnny still manages to find some trouble as he helps his new neighbors move in. This story is a sequel to Double Date.
